Podcast transcription and show notes

Turn an episode into a transcript you can search and reuse. Find the discussion points, review the wording and build show notes from the recording.

    Start with your recording

Upload the episode file or use its YouTube link. Review guest names, links and quotations before sharing. Processing time depends on recording length and current demand.

    Transcribe audio or video

AI transcription uses credits on eligible paid plans. If a recording trial is available for your account, its allowance appears before you start. Review the quote before confirming.

Use one episode transcript throughout publishing

    1. Use the final episode file, or its YouTube link when the episode is published there. Existing usable captions can be read without AI transcription.
    2. For a file or audio transcription, check your plan access and estimate before starting. Review guest names and unfamiliar terms once the transcript is ready.
    3. Use the checked text to draft show notes, find a quotation or develop an article. Verify timestamps against the final episode before publishing.

Give listeners useful routes into the conversation

A topic list should explain what each passage contains. Add guest and resource links only after checking their destinations; a transcript may name a website without giving its address. When the conversation includes a personal result, attribute it to the guest and keep the conditions they described.

For an interview about launching a newsletter, a topic label such as ‘Why the first edition failed’ gives more help than ‘Marketing’. Use it only if that is what the passage covers, then test its timestamp in the published episode.
