    1. Overview

    All products and services offered by Transcript Guru are digital, non-tangible, and delivered instantly. As such, all sales are final and non-refundable once the order is completed and the service has been delivered. We encourage you to try our free plan before purchasing a subscription.

    2. Automatic Credit Refunds

    If a transcript extraction fails for any reason (video unavailable, captions not found, processing error), the credits reserved for that job are automatically refunded to your account immediately. No action is required on your part. This applies to all plans including the free tier.

    3. Limited Refund Window

    You may request a refund within 24 hours of your first payment only, and only under the following circumstances:

    • A verified system error or bug on our platform prevented you from using the service
    • You were charged an incorrect amount due to a technical issue
    • A duplicate charge was processed

    To request a refund, email [email protected] within 24 hours of payment with your account email, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence. Refund requests are reviewed within 48 hours.

    4. Non-Refundable Items

    The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

    • Subscription payments after the 24-hour window
    • Subscription renewal charges (cancel before renewal to avoid charges)
    • Credit top-up purchases once added to your account
    • Promotional or discounted pricing
    • Partial billing periods
    • Refund requests based on dissatisfaction, lack of use, or change of mind

    5. Subscription Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. Upon cancellation:

    • Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period
    • You retain access to all plan features until the period ends
    • Unused credits from your plan allocation do not carry over after downgrade
    • No refund is issued for the remaining days in a billing period

    6. Service Issues

    If you experience a verified systemic issue that prevents you from using credits you've paid for (e.g., extended platform outage, repeated processing failures affecting your account), contact us at [email protected]. We will evaluate your case and may issue a credit grant to your account at our discretion.

    7. Chargebacks

    If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination. We strongly encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any issues directly.
